This space devoted to news releases and reviews concerning the music of RLM.

October 2025

"Integrity" is RLM's third release and continues his mission to explore the soundscape of alternative folk. Some people have asked how the subject of integrity came about. I was listening to two individuals engaged in a heated conversation concerning current social issues. Not only were they not getting anywhere but I even felt a bit of frustration myself just listening to their "discussion"! But within such moments there is an opportunity for creative resolution as to how we relate to each other. It involves both the personal aspect of individual character and the social aspect of interpersonal interaction. This is the definition of integrity. Integrity is about living out of principles and ideals based on respect for other people, commitment to truthfulness, dedication to mutual support and the cultivation of a beneficent spirit. Positive social functioning depends on how we interact with each other. These traits are not foreign to human nature but are an integral part of our humanity. This is the common bond that unites us - our humanity. The Spirit of '26 explores these ideas and how they can help bring us together at their website. The image of a jaguar was selected for the cover because of its mythological connection in some cultures with integrity. Its steady gaze seems to penetrate our inner depths to encourage our growth as an individual and as a people.
