It is the quality of life experiences that constitute the fibre of ones being. I have been lucky enough to make the
acquaintance of some amazing people. They, each in their own way, exposed me to a facet of the world that excited my imagination and encouraged me to explore the farther reaches. As a result, I have always enjoyed the
process of discovery and of learning. I was drawn to Art from an early age. Anyone involved in an artistic pursuit soon encounters the deep questions. Backpacking through the wilds provided me with solitude and
time for contemplation and a deep connection with Nature. From Art I proceeded through Philosophy & Psychology to Physics & Mathematics and then back to Art again through Literature and
Mythology. But words and language can take you only so far - the artistic experience continues from there. Thus sound became my medium of expression. Actually, it served as transport to beautific realms before it was
a facilitator of communication. And the flow of ideas continues - both musically and conceptually. Eventually I came to live in the country where I try to strike a balance between being socially engaged and taking refuge.
I also enjoy hiking and the many animals such as deer, coyote, hawk, owl, and even a peacock! The main sounds are Wind and Thunder and the night sky is only partially obscured by shopping mall lights. Primarily,
I attempt being still enough to get past me (hence the spiritually inspired titles) and have a laugh or two. That's me in the photo a few years back, on a sailing
vessel flying my own pirate colors - red, yellow, and blue - in search of treasure. Anyway, I hope you find some of the joy in listening that I have found in creation.
